Look of the Day!

Jul 1, 2010

I love spending time with my family and yesterday I had the privilege of going to Great America with my husband, son and godson!  I did a blue eye look that was really cute and my husband took a picture of me sleeping in the car.  Here is a cropped version of the picture because I don't think you all want to see me looking crazy about to start drooling!

I really love this blue eye look for summer and I plan on recreating it soon so look out for a full tutorial on this!
Today, I wanted to do some FUN makeup.  I am really trying to get into lip color as I am a complete eye kinda gal!  So anyhoo, I used some fun green eye shadows and a pink lipstick and wah lah!  For this look I will list EVERY product that I used excluding brushes.  I think I might do a tutorial on it all because I have a lot of steps that I use.....
I used the following:
(Listed in order applied)
MUFE Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector 4
MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer in NW40 (under brows)
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Original
BE Nice Pear Eye Shadow
MAC Sweet & Punchy Eye Shadow
MAC Shimmermoss Eye Shadow
Nars Ondine Eye Shadow (used to blend the green colors out)
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder (upper lash line)
MAC Eye Kohl in Float on By (lower lash line)
MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer in NW40
MUFE Full Cover Concealer in Fawn 14 (yes I use 2 concealers!)
MUFE HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 175 Cafe
MUFE Aqua Smoky Lash Mascara (I apply mascara while I let my foundation dry)
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Medium Plus (used under eyes as a highlight and to set my concealer)
MAC Studio Fix Foundation in NW 45 (used to set my liquid foundation)
MAC Ambering Rose Blush
BE SPF 25 Tinted Mineral Veil
Smashbox Lip Service Palette (used the pink color on the second row, the very first one on the left.)
BE April Buxom Lip Polish (used in the center of the lip)

Oh yeah, today I piled on a bunch of products just to see what happened...turned out pretty well to me!  Hope you all like this look as much as I do.
