Earrings! Ilovepoparazzi.com

Sep 27, 2011

Yes, I am a follower and I will hang my head in shame!  No seriously, I saw these earrings on a reality television show called Basketball Wives and I had to have them.  I found out that the company that made the earrings and I ordered them.  Now I've been seeing a lot of people on youtube getting the "inspired" earrings or making the earrings themselves but I wanted to get the originals and I'm simply not into making earrings right now.  I purchased 2 pairs from the website, ilovepoparazzi, and I'm pretty happy with my purchase.  The only thing I wish they had were hoops that are a little smaller as I feel like they overwhelm my face at times.   Also, I can tell that the silver earrings will become discolored in time.

AmBURR Alert Earrings - Silver
$45 USD

Crystal Pave Hoops - Black
$85 USD
I think that I will only bust these babies out every once in a while as I fear that I am a studs girl at heart!

Sep 12, 2011

Yes, I'm in the car again!  I was waiting on my husband to come out of the post office so I thought I would take some pictures so I could finally post another look of the day.

I'm converting back to a makeup user rather than just a makeup hoarder.  Sometimes I get into the habit of buying but not actually wearing so I thought that I would do a few more Look of the Day posts to encourage myself to start actually wearing makeup again.  This look is super easy and I like it a lot so I hope you guys like it too.

L to R:  Jealousy Wakes, Sparkle Neely, Sparkle!
It seems that when a new makeup collection launches, there is a frenzy that happens.  Everyone tries to be the first to review it, get pictures of it, tell ya about it and then it is quickly forgotten.  I used to be one of those people until I recently realized that I need to make smarter purchases and stop being a complete makeup groupie/hoarder!  I still purchase things but now I wait and think about if I am really going to use the items or not.

I picked up two more eye shadows from the MAC Bloggers Obsession Collection and I love them!  I am still contemplating whether or not to get a back up of Sparkle Neely, Sparkle!.  It is my absolute favorite at this moment.  I hauled that one and Jealousy Wakes.

Both colors are gorgeous but the reason that Sparkle Neely, Sparkle! gets my vote is because I created the quickest smokey subtle gorgeousness on my eyes the other day and LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! is all I can say.

Available at MAC

Falling in Love with Origins

Sep 5, 2011

I've been on this skincare kick recently and I think I have a new obsession.  Origins is currently my love interest!  I've been using their Brighter By Nature Skin Tone Correcting Serum and the Brighter By Nature SPF 35 Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer for about 6-7 months.  Recently I've decided to become more diligent and consistent with my skincare because I want to be sure that my face looks good whether I have makeup on or not.  On my most recent trip down the skincare yellow brick road, I picked up a few more things to add to my Origins collection.  I picked up the following:

Never A Dull Moment (skin-brightening face cleanser)  $19.50 USD

 VitaZing (SPF 15 Energy-boosting moisturizer)  $35.00 USD

Brighter by Nature (skin tone correcting serum)  $42.00 USD

Ginger Cloud (smoothing body balm)  $22.50 USD

Now with my skincare obsession, I have also starting drinking lots and lots of water and taking vitamins.  Hopefully this will make my skin more even toned and less dull!
