Givenchy Haul!

I finally hauled some Givenchy ya'll!  Okay so I've been wanting this product for like ever because I've heard so many great things about the shadows.  I finally bit the bullet and shelled out the $56 for this quad and I am glad I did.  The texture of the shadows are smooth and they had good color pay-off when I swatched them with my fingers.  These shades weren't super special and I don't think the palette is worth $56 because I could probably find similar colors for a lot less but because I am a makeup addict of sorts, I don't regret my purchase!  To find out which color I hauled, and to see swatches, please keep reading!

Nars Hoard...Yes Again!

Hi Guys!  I'm back from Sea World!  I went with my husband and son after Thanksgiving and we stayed for the weekend.  I had a fab time but it's taken me a few days to recuperate.  But anyway on to the makeup, I hauled these two eye shadows while I was in California though and I am just now sitting down to blog about it.

So, I recently saw two Nars eye shadow duos for $10 each available on Sephora and of course I had to get them both.  I no longer see them on Sephora's website or Nars'...maybe they are sold out....glad I got them when I did!  The duos regular price is $32 and the quality of Nars shadows is usually very impressive.  These did not disappoint.  The Cheyenne duo has a great golden/orange color and a pretty purple/bronzy color.  This would be great for everyday wear and you can also sexy it up.  The Wicked duo has a light shimmery white gold color and a lime green color.  Very springy colors but they can be mixed and match to fall them up a bit.

I recently picked up the Pure Matte Lipstick from Nars and OMG it was love at first try.  I picked up the color Vesuvio which is described as a full bodied red and believe me it is.  I have a recent obsession with red lipstick and this one did not disappoint.  I wore this when I was in California and it lasted like seriously all day.  I went to get my hair done, took my grandma to the buffet and it was still on.  Loves!  Interested in seeing pictures?  Well you know what to do!

My Camera is not working! :-( So what about those movies!

Hey!  I didn't forget about you but my silly camera won't connect to my computer and since the hubs is working, I have no choice but to wait.  So now you get one of my random much ado about nothing posts.  I finally saw Sex and the City 2 on demand the other night and I was so freaking disappointed, I could hardly stand it.  I kept waiting for that "ok now it's getting good" moment and that never came....um okay I guess.  They had so many great story lines that they could have developed and somehow I ended up on a haphazard trip...so confused.  I would have rather they stayed in New York and worked out the story lines.  Let me see how stressed out Charlotte was getting at motherhood, let me see Samantha trying to stay young, let me see Miranda dealing with a crazy boss and feeling guilty about missing Brady and finally let me see Big and Carrie developing into marriage.  Please tell me what happened to the storyline that kept me glued to the tv for years?

MAC A Tartan Tale Haul

Um yeah, where do I start with this.  I'm so freaking disappointed with this tragedy that is A Tartan Tale.  I was so excited for the Venomous Villains collection and to have this after that is utterly ridiculous in my opinion.  I was going to skip the collection all together but I'm a makeup hoarder so I had to get a few things.  Only a few items stood out for me and most of them where re-promotes from previous MAC collections that I missed out on.  If you want to see swatches and what not, keep on reading!

LOTD! Purple Dreams

MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme Mini Haul

When I say mini, I mean it.  I only hauled one of these little things because honestly I wanted to try it out the new formula before I hauled a bunch.  So far I am really liking the formula.  It's creamy without being too sticky and this one lasted about 3-4 hours on me before I noticed fading.  My lip did peel a bit but I have seriously dry lips so I wasn't too surprised.  I would recommend using a lip moisturizer before this product if you have the same problem with dry lips. WTH with all these Samples!

So I love free stuff and every time I check out at Sephora, I pick my 3 little samples with joy.  Now I have accumulated all these samples and am thinking to myself, what do I need with all of these?!  The samples are usually so small that I can't tell whether or not I even like the product so I don't even remember them.  Also, I tuck them away in different areas around the house and tend to forget all about them so really, what is the point? I have decided that I would rather get 1 deluxe sample than all these itty bitty samples.  How do you feel about this sample madness?

Too Faced Haul! Enchanted Glamourland

I love Too Faced Cosmetic's packaging and this holiday set does not disappoint.  It is the cutest thing ever and I can't get enough.  The great thing about this collection is that not only is it cute but the shadows are so smooth and easy to apply.  They have good pigmentation and I heart them to pieces.

This collection retails for $49.  I purchased my set from Sephora's online store.  The value is said to be $145 which I do believe because this set is jam packed full of makeup deliciousness.

The set includes 15 eye shadows, a shadow primer, a lip gloss, a blush and a bronzer.  Like seriously, what more can you ask for?

Kat Von D Haul! Painted Love Lipstick Set

Look of the Day! Urban Decay BOS III - Brighten my Day

Oh I finally came up with a look that I love from this kit!!!  Yeah!  This bunch of colors had one of my favorites which is Haight.  There was glitter with this third row of colors but not much fall-out.  YEAH!

I've been satisfied but now wowed by the BOS III kit but now things are starting to look up.

MAC Venomous Villains Haul!

So I guess my makeup spending hiatus is officially over!  I hauled a lot last month so I need to calm down this month which means less haul posting and more looks!  I actually stuck to my list with this one though and didn't buy anything extra which is a miracle for me.  I even cut down on my list because it was a little out of control.

Look of the Day! Urban Decay BOS III - Candy Girl

Back in action!  I've been doing better with my updates!  I'm a little under the weather but still hanging in there.   Today I did this look using the second row of my BOS collection.  It came out pretty cute but I'm so over all of the shimmer.  The Midnight Cowboy Rides Again color was the fall-out culprit.  If you like the look, keep reading to find out what I used!

Look of the Day! Urban Decay BOS III - Fully Loaded

I've been having fun trying out my BOS collection.  I decided to try to each row together to see what looks I could come up with. For this look I used the top row of the colletion. 

The shadows I used were very pigmented and did not require a lot of building up.  The only color that had a lot of fall-out was UZI.  The little chunks of glitter were kinda annoying and to be honest, I probably won't use this color again any time soon.  It is still a really pretty color though. Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume III Haul!

So I've been kinda neglecting Sephora lately because MAC has decided to release a collection every five seconds or so and I've gotten sucked into the madness of it all.  However, no matter how long I stay away, I always seem to come back to my true love, Sephora.  This time I came back for my first ever Book of Shadows!  I was never really into Urban Decay before so I had never purchased any of the BOS collections.  I'm glad I finally "got with the program" because I'm uber excited!

Look of the Day! Tulips

Hey!  Here I am with another look of the day post.  I'm all about the lips right now as I have fallen head over heals in love with lipstick. I don't know what happened to this lip gloss girl but I'm cheating fierce with my lippies.  Wanna join me on my lipstick journey?  Well why not right!  I tried a two toned look today and I liked it a lot so I thought I would share it.  I used MAC Brick Lip Liner, MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick and MAC Show Orchid Lipstick.  I used a lip brush to apply both colors and blended them together.

Georgia Peach! CCO Haul

Hi Everyone!  I missed posting and currrently am sucking as a blogger.  I was visiting my relatives in Georgia and had an awesome time but before I left, my laptop broke and I hate working off of the desktop.  I am now asking my 2 year old to borrow his laptop...sad days guys, sad days!  I can't really crop and edit my pics on this computer so I'll just do a quick haul post.  I got to visit South Carolina while I was on my trip and low and behold they had a CCO.  Seriously!  I was supremely excited but I vowed to cut back on my makeup splurges so I only hauled 3 things.  I got MAC's Trimming Talk Lipstick,  Reflects Bronze Pigment and Sweet and Nice Tendertone.  I am obsessed with all of the products but the smell of the Tendertone is kinda turning me off....

Well I hope to get a new laptop soon and resume my usual makeup banter.

MAC Fabulous Felines Haul! Part 3

Hi All!  I am finally done with my Fab Felines haul.  I swear I will not buy this much stuff all together again.  Okay I am totally lying but I'm going to really try not too!  This last part of my haul will feature the pigments and liners I purchased from MAC.  I got 3 pigments and 2 liners.  The pigments aren't a new product so I'll just show some swatches and pictures.  I'll give a little more detail on the liners since they are a new product!

MAC Fabulous Felines Haul! Part 2

Hey I'm back with part 2 of my Fab Felines haul.  I hauled 2 of the 3 Eye Quads.  I got the Burmese Beauty and Leopard Luxe quads because I love eye shadow and I've seen the Leopard Luxe in my Allure this month so I thought why not.  I wish I would have gotten the other palette also because the two I got are on the neutral side but I still like them so I can't complain too much.

MAC Fabulous Felines Haul! Part 1

Hey there!  I did a little haulage with this collection.  I probably went a little overboard and I should have listened to the recommendations of people that told me to skip this collection or at least cut down on my items a bit.  But since I'm a little new to the whole MAC world, I just can't help myself.  I decided to post my haul in sections.  Today's section is lips.  I purchased 5 lip products total, 4 lipsticks and 1 lipglass.  As you may already know, this collection was broken off into 3 sub-sections which are Burmese Beauty, Leopard Luxe and Palace Pedigreed.  I got Pet Me, Please l/s and Kittenish l/g from Burmese Beauty, Drive Me Wild l/s from Leopard Luxe and Aristo-cat l/s from Palace Pedigreed.

My favorites are Drive Me Wild and Kittenish but I like them all except for Pet Me, Please, that one is a no no no.  I'm going to try it with some other color to see if I can make it work because I am not paying to ship this sucker back...but me no likey.
