NEW BUT UNTOUCHED
Well I've touched them but I hadn't used them! I actually swatched one
color threw them into my purse and left them there! So sad. I decided
to go ahead and blog about them though so I posted some lip swatches and
it actually cheered me up a bit! I love lipstick!

Beauty Tip!
Well technically I'm in Germany right now so it's really day six but shhhhh, don't tell anyone! My beauty tip is to take care of your skin before trying to slap any makeup products on it! Hydrate the inner body by drinking lots of water. Remove your makeup completely every night. For dry skin ladies, like myself, gently exfoliate the skin and make sure you moisturize!

Mascara of the Moment. Well this is the Mascara of a lifetime. It is my all time favorite mascara and it is totally worth the $30 I paid for it. It gives me what I need which is length. I love it!

Today's post is about a product line that I would like to try. I have tried a lot of makeup but I don't own anything from Hourglass. This prestige brand has been popping up lately all over the blogasphepe (is that a word) and I really want to try their Primer. I heard it's fantastic for dry skin folks like myself. I'm thinking about getting the set pictured, which I believe includes the primer, but I'm waiting on some more reviews before I splurge?
And since I also posted a picture on Instagram, I thought I would share that too!
I was bored...this happened.
So what brand are you interested in trying?

Instagram: January Photo a Day
Jan 1, 2013
I've decided to do the January Photo a Day Challenge on Instagram. The challenge was created by beautythesis and I like the idea so I'm starting off the New Year with a new challenge.
Day 1 - Beauty Resolutions
Take Better Care of My Skin
I definitely want to take better care of my skin. It is really dry and I don't really address my problem issues and try to correct them so this year I'm going to stick to a skincare regimen.
Drink More Water
This goes hand in hand with my dry skin issue. Hydrating the inside will hopefully reflect on the outside.
Use More of My Collection
I started doing this in 2012 but I really want to continue using products that I already own instead of rushing out to buy more products!
Consolidate My Professional Kit
Since I decided to take my free-lancing business seriously, I've been upgrading items and adding to my kit. The problem is I haven't purged anything so it just keeps on growing. I need consolidation badly!
Improve My Blog/Website and Start My Portfolio
This is a daunting task as I have two children and my son is in so many activities and goes to school so sometimes between that, and taking care of my household and husband, I feel like I let my blog and my passion for makeup take a back seat. So now I've decided that after the kids go to sleep, I will focus on improving my blog instead of watching reality tv! I will also like to try to start my free-lance portfolio as soon as possible because I don't have examples of my work in order to book more clients. The majority of my clients come from word of mouth or people just walking up to me after I've beat my face!
Try Different Looks and Techniques
I just want to grow and improve and while I think I'm pretty good, I always see room to grow. I want to focus on trying new ideas and getting better at all I do!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know if you have any Beauty Resolutions!

So I dyed my hair black!
Dec 23, 2012
Sorry I took this picture with my iphone so it looks a little crazy!!!!
Joking! I really did dye my hair though and I just wanted to do a quick post about it. My hair has been a major struggle lately and it just seems dull and lifeless whenever I do it myself (it's always perfect after I come from the salon)! My hair stylist suggested that I dye it to give it a little something extra and whatever she says, I do. So basically I dyed it black and I love it. Now if I can just get my daughter to stop pulling my hair out, we would be set! She just loves running her hands through it and tugging it. It's cute and all until I go bald!
Oh and I did a tutorial on this eye look so check it out below if you are interested!
Eyebrows!
Nov 16, 2012

Eyebrows are probably the most important aspect of my makeup regime. If my eyebrows are having an off day I immediately hate my entire makeup look. I get a lot of compliments on my brows and I'm thankful because they have truly come a long way. My natural brows are super sparse and gross but I fell in love with Make Up For Ever's Eye Brow Corrector (now discontinued...boooo) and I have been able to achieve the brows I always wanted.
Do you have any favorite brow products that you are using? Let me know so I can try them out!
