Too Faced La Creme Lipstick - Cinnamon Kiss

I've been hearing a lot about Too Faced Cosmetics new lipstick launch and I tried not to give in but I didn't succeed.  The other day I saw the display and I couldn't resist.  I wanted a couple neutral lip colors that are a little darker for the upcoming fall/winter seasons.  The first color I picked is called Cinnamon Kiss which is described as a "spiced brown" on the Too Faced website.  It is a great color for women of my complexion and I'm really happy that I purchased it.

This lipstick is really creamy, glides on smoothly and lasted about 3 hours on me.  These are less slick than the YSL Rouge Volupte but feel just as nice if not better in my opinion.  Love these lippies.

MAC Lipstick - Moxie

Since I was hauling Candy Yum-Yum, I decided to check out another of the re-launched shades that MAC was offering.  Moxie is a gorgeous pink color with a tinge of red in it.  I absolutely love it!

MAC Lipstick - Candy Yum-Yum

So I'm supposedly on a no buy which lasted for about a half of a second once I saw that the much sought after Candy Yum-Yum was in stock on MAC's website.  I had to have it so of course I put a couple in my cart and checked out!  I also bought a couple of other things but I'll save those for a different post.

As you can probably tell, it leans a little purple on me for some reason.

I like this shade a lot but I was a bit disappointed.  It's a pretty lipstick but because of it's popularity, I was expecting to be wowed and I just wasn't.  It is a very bright matte neon pink and with these types of shades, I like to wear them lighted blotted on the lips so that it is flattering on me.  I haven't paired this with a lipgloss yet but I bet a pink dazzleglass would look great over this shade.

So did any of you haul this lippie or was I the only one giving in to the hype?
